Course Types and Duration
NOVICE
For operators with no previous experience. - 3-5 Days
Maximum of 3 candidates per course
EXPERIENCED
For operators who have experience of driving a lift truck, but have had no formal training. - 2-3 Days
Maximum of 3 candidates per course
REFRESHER
For operators who currently hold a certificate but wish to renew on the same truck type. - 1 Day
Maximum of 3 candidates per course
CONVERSION
For operators who currently hold a certificate for one type of truck, but wish to learn to operate another truck type. 1-2 Days.

What the Courses Cover
*Identify the main components of the Forklift truck *Carry out a pre-shift inspection check
*Operate a forklift truck within the safety limits as defined by the manufacturer.
*Stack and de-stack from various heights.
*Maneuver a laden and un-laden forklift truck in a variety of areas
All training conforms to the requirements of the Approved Code of Practice and Supplementary Guidance Rider Operated Lift Trucks - Operator Training( L117)

On successful completion of a course, the candidate will be able to:
